Hello everyone, I just wanted to make a correction. In the
Big News post, I stated that I would be participating in a marathon. A reader expressed concern over the fact that I will be attempting to run 26 miles with only 10 weeks to train. It is not the 26 mile marathon that I am participating in, it is the 8k. I should have been more explanatory so I apologize.
But anywhoo, I was doing some research to find a training schedule to train for the 8k and I can across this beginner's program training schedule.It is a program for 5k runners but I am sure it can still be used for people interested in running an 8k or even a half marathon. I can't figure out how to post the schedule so here is the link. If you are training as well, fell free to post a schedule/program that you are adhering to.
